Welcome to our beginners Kripalu Yoga Class. Known as the "grandfather of Yoga" Kripalu style Yoga is gentle, yet very powerful and effective. Though open to all, this non-competitive class is designed especially for those over 40 years of age and for people with limited flexibility who feel that perhaps yoga may be too much of a challenge.

Perhaps you may have considered taking a yoga class in the past but thought "I could never get myself into those positions." Kripalu Yoga is not about competition or pushing your body beyond its present capability. It is about listening to your body and learning to respect its limits until you feel ready to explore new challenges. You will learn to work with your body at its own pace allowing for gradual changes in flexibility, strength and stamina.
